A project funded by UNEP with three specific activities.

Activity 1 - Developing an intermediary course in environmental law for judges.

Activity 2 – Organising a training for Pacific judges on environmental and climate law

Activity 3 - Advance the establishment of a green bench in the Pacific.

This project allowed the partners to develop an intermediary course for Judges in the Pacific as a follow up course to the Introductory Course discussed above. The Partners also worked together to roll out for the first time the training for Pacific Judges in the Pacific on the Introductory Course. A total of 60 Judges from PNG, Vanuatu, Fiji and Tonga attended the Training both online and face-to-face. The Partners also commenced work on the feasibility of establishing a regional dispute resolution mechanism for the environment in the region.
